CONTRAINDICATIONS TO LENS WEAR


GENERAL HEALTH REASON:

Insulin Dependent Diabetes

Caution must be used in fitting 
these patients as the corneal 
epithelium may be more fragile 
and the healing response retarded.

They should not wear the lenses 
on a extended wear basis.


Patients on Immunosuppressive drugs

They are more prone to infections such as corneal ulcers.
